Ever since childhood, Kayte has always wanted to be a mum. 

So when she was 14 years old, she took the plunge and welcomed her first child. 

Then at 16, she planned another one.

Teen mum hits back at trolls who say she’s “irresponsible”

The Australian mum, now 24, is hitting back at trolls who told her she was irresponsible for having children so young. 

But in a series of TikToks, she confirmed she actually planned the majority of them. 

“You planned the other one?” one person asked, to which she responded: “I did”. 

She confessed she had been pregnant for most of her teen years. “Ages I've been pregnant - 14, 15, 16, 17, 19…and hopefully again soon,” she said.

She later explained that she had two children with a former partner, who “doesn’t see” the children regularly. “I became a single mum at 17,” she wrote. 

‘I’m glad my ex left before [my kids] could remember how horrible he was,” she clarified. 

She is now with “the love of [her] life", whom she met at 18.

They already have one child together and are expecting another. “Yes, I had two babies at 17... and here comes number four,” she said, rubbing her tummy.

“Girl, get a hobby and some birth control”

The videos have garnered mixed reactions online, with many supporting the mum’s decision to have children at such a young age. 

“The age in which a woman has a child (or children) and how many she has is no one's business or concern,” wrote one fan.

“Age is just a number,” another added. 

But others weren’t shy about sharing their opinion of the young mum. “Girl, get a hobby and some birth control,” wrote one. 

“How the f**k did you plan your pregnancy at 16? You don’t. You just accept the fact you f**ked up,” wrote another. 

“You wouldn’t have been financially stable or mature enough to look after a child, that’s just inconsiderate,” another added.
