Mum-of-one Jacqueline just thought she was posting a sweet video to TikTok of her daughter Wren comparing outfits.
The four-year-old girl and her mum were taking part in a trend, comparing a mum and grandma’s take on a Valentine’s Day outfit.
But instead of putting the clothes on an actual mum and grandma, Jacqueline put Wren in the outfits and had her pose for the camera.
“Mum vs grandma Valentine’s Day outfit” she captioned the video.
For the first ensemble, Wren is wearing a one-sleeved red top with a white love heart in the centre, with a black mini skirt and white sneakers.
As the grandma, she’s all pink and red stripes with lots of ruffles. She’s giving eccecentric granny.
And while Jacqueline thought that people would love the video, many followers criticised the young mum, accusing her of dressing her daughter in sexy clothing.

Mum slammed over ‘inappropriate’ clothes for four-year-old
Many said that the mum outfit was too old for a little girl.
“Grandma keeping Wren as a kid,” said one person.
“You dress her like a full teenager,” said another person.
“Mum dressed her like she’s 20 trying to pick up guys,” agreed another person.
“Grandma!! Let a child be a child,” said a fourth person. “They should just have a good childhood.”
“Why would you put the first one on your child,” was another person’s critical take.

But not everyone agreed that Wren’s clothing was too old for her.
“Some of y’all say you’re uncomfortable with the outfit,” one person said. “I’m uncomfortable about why you are when she’s five and fully dressed.”
“She’s cute in both,” said another. “To be honest for me I was given too much clothing similar to number two when I was that age, so I always craved something like number one here.”
