ACCC issues alert for Omnicommerce Group pram, Tiny Triumphs baby sling

Two popular baby products have been urgently recalled, with parents warned the defective items could cause their little ones serious injury or even death.
The first is Omnicommerce Group’s foldable baby stroller, which was sold online and nationally between November 8 2023 and October 16, 2024.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission warns the pram does not have a tether strap and the brake control is not red.
The consumer watchdog said there was a “risk of serious injury or death to babies or young children due to the missing safety features”.
“Stop using these strollers immediately,” the safety alert from Wednesday states.
“Contact Little Infants Australia to arrange for return of the product and a replacement product or store credit.”
The second recalled item is a baby sling carrier from Tiny Triumphs.
The carrier allows parents to carry and distribute their baby’s weight while letting them keep one hand free.
“Using baby slings with infants that are too young or not placing them within the sling correctly could lead to injury,” the ACCC said on Wednesday.
“The affected baby slings do not have warning information or the warning information is incorrect.
“Risk of death or serious injury to babies from falls or suffocation if the sling is not used properly.
“Consumers may not be aware of the safety hazards associated with this product.”
The slings were sold on the Tiny Triumphs website.
The ACCC advises parents to stop using the sling immediately and contact the supplier to receive a full refund.
