Nadia Bartel has stripped bare in a video on her Instagram, touting the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage to her 548k followers.
The 37-year-old Henne designer shared the footage on her Stories, lying naked underneath a white towel on a massage table – while a clinician at Paddington’s Venustus, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, rubbed her thighs and backside.
Bartel – who shares two children with ex-husband and former AFL star Jimmy Bartel – later showed off the results of the $411 procedure. According to Venustus, the 75-minute treatment “is designed to activate the lymphatic system”.
“We use various tools and techniques to stimulate the skin and lymph nodes which can help shift stagnant fluid and toxins … We use vigorous massage to help with contour, which can increase blood circulation and help to support fat metabolism,” a description reads.

“The treatment may also offer longer-term benefits including; stimulating and activating the lymphatic system (an often overlooked and undervalued system), facilitating elimination, with clients commenting that they noticed reduced inflammation, minimising the appearance of cellulite and increasing blood flow to, and metabolism in, the areas being massaged.”
Sharing a side-by-side comparison of her legs – one having undergone the treatment and the other not – Bartel said she could tell the difference.
“The left leg was worked on (right not yet) and I feel like it’s a little more defined,” she said.
Her visit to the Sydney wellness spot comes off the back of Henne’s “incredibly exciting” debut at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week earlier this month.
Bartel, who co-founded the label in 2019 with her sister, Michelle Ring, and their business partner, Laura Broque, sat front row at Sydney’s Shell House for the May 13 presentation.
“When we launched Henne three years ago, I always had hoped that one day we could shoot at AAFW,” she said of Henne’s “Future is Now” collection.
“It is incredibly exciting and a very proud moment for us to be partnering with the festival to showcase a collection that is made for her, a collection that can be intermixed and worn anywhere, any time.
“I have loved attending AAFW in the past and have been a part of many incredible fashion moments.
“It’s the one event that brings the entire industry together – with designers, hair and makeup artists, stylists, models, photographers and the likes all showcasing their talents and being celebrated at an international level.”
