POP STAR Pink is gearing up for her third show at Rod Laver Arena as part of her Beautiful Trauma world tour.

With already two performances under her belt, she’ll perform in Melbourne tonight, Friday and Sunday, July 23, 25, 27 and 28 and August 28 and 29.

Pink’s 2013 The Truth About Love Tour still stands as the biggest selling tour by a solo female artist in Australia — outselling Adele and Taylor Swift.

In a touring world increasingly fixated on bigger venues, Pink continues to concentrate on being the best at what she does.

Basing herself and her family in Australia for two months means Pink can still play arenas, not stadiums. That speaks volumes about how she treats her audience and views the live experience.

How superstar Pink keeps fit for her Beautiful Trauma tour

Pink’s box office numbers and production statistics are as dazzling as her acrobatic skills.

But beneath the figures, financials and flying apparatuses is a hardcore workout regimen to keep Pink’s Beautiful Trauma tour on track and in the air.

Her training includes cardio, yoga, pilates, plyometrics, flexibility, high-intensity interval training, dance and strength training.

Superstar Pink stripped bare

Besides her own brood, husband Carey Hart and their children Willow and Jameson, there are the band members, dancers and inner circle who have been with her for more than a decade.

They are a tight-knit crew but not a clique. Newcomers to the fold are welcomed with a warm hug as I discovered when I joined P! nk on the UK leg of her summer tour in August.

I’m not exactly a newcomer to the team; Alecia Moore and I have known each other since she coerced me into drinking white chocolate martinis with her during our first interview in 2000. I haven’t drunk one since and have zero plans to ever do so again.

How Pink scored duet with Eminem

P! NK begged rapper Eminem not to laugh at her for writing her first rap song.

Ironically, their duet Revenge features the controversial hip hop star singing almost as much as he is rapping.

Slated to be the next single from her Beautiful Trauma album, released on October 13, Revenge is her hilarious attempt to add a rap Grammy to her collection of pop and rock trophies.

It took a few glasses of wine to summon the courage to ask Eminem to join her on the track.
