The smell of fresh pastries wafted from the building down to the back of a long line along Russell St.
Near the front of the queue, Simeon Khaw waited for at least half-an-hour to get his hands on a Lune croissant before work.
“We’ve had them before and now that they’re in the city and we work around the city, it’s like, why not grab some brekkie?,” he said.
At the back of the line, Quinn Chia waited with his girlfriend, Wynnie Wee.
“They’re pretty good and my girlfriend likes croissants,” Quinn said, adding he wanted to grab one before his 9am class.
The store opened on Russell St, between Flinders Lane and Collins St, at 7am today.
