After enduring the dark days of lockdown and quarantine panic attacks, superstar WAG Jesinta Franklin predicts we will all come out of lockdown with a mission to feel more fabulous than ever before.

“This new look is a sign of the times,” Franklin told The Saturday Telegraph.

“We are all going to re-emerge from this lockdown with this new zest for life and we are going to want to try new beauty looks and experiment with fashion.

“I am wearing a wig in these photos, but I do think we are going to see big new trends in fashion and make-up and beauty and people doing things like cutting their hair and dying it pink because we have been so suppressed for so long. It is going to be fun.”

Franklin, 30, spent two weeks in hotel quarantine in Brisbane with her newborn baby Rocky and two-year-old daughter Lulu.

“Rocky was 10 weeks old when Bud left for work, we had six weeks in lockdown without him in Sydney, then the kids and I had two weeks in hotel quarantine before relocating to Melbourne and spending six weeks there,” she said.

“I am not the same person, I am honestly not. It was wild. I actually had two huge panic attacks in there.

“I had a mountain of dirty nappies in the bin. We had no fresh air. We had loud speakers in the room that would announce every time a meal was coming which would wake the kids up. It was like being in a very un-fun Big Brother. Fire alarms went off at midnight.

“When I was in there I put so much energy into being positive, so when I got out, I was exhausted.”

The model, the face of Myer’s campaign Beauty Fixated, said she wants to put in some effort after months of not wearing make-up or doing her hair.

“For the past few months, I really haven’t done much in the way of self-care,” Franklin said.

“My beauty routine has been minimal. I haven’t really applied make-up and my hair is just thrown back in a messy bun most days. I managed to put moisturiser on my face a couple of times but that’s about it beauty wise.

“I think now with lockdown ending and freedom day approaching it is going to be a lot different because we are going to want to put some time into how we look.”

Annabel Talbot, general manager of beauty & womenswear at Myer said: “Jesinta’s natural beauty, aspirational look and versatility makes her the perfect muse for our Summer Beauty book. We love her transformative look, so much about beauty is being able to have a little fun, mix things up and express your individuality.”
