Flowers and a picture of the family cat inside a fridge? One TikTok user has set a new bar when it comes to kitchen organisation — and the internet is going nuts for the trend.

For as long as fridges have existed, they have had one purpose: to be a cold space to store food. But a fridge can also say a lot about the person who owns it.

You can get an insight into a person’s daily habits – what they like to drink, if they do meal prep, if they have any favourite snacks … It’s all there for you to see, delicious reveals.

And that’s why the internet has been so obsessed with people sharing videos of their fridges online.

Over the past few years, there’s been increased online interest in kitchen organisation, and this existed pre-TikTok.

Mums would regularly swap Kmart hacks on Facebook groups, sharing the latest buys that can help you save space or better store your ingredients.

But 2023 has taken things to the next level.

It’s absolutely spotless, with a designated place for everything, including a photo of her cat …?

Not only are the crisper drawers neatly packed, but sprigs of baby’s breath and eucalyptus adorn the walls of the refrigerator. And this isn’t a one-off bit of whimsy for Scampoli.

Looking back on her account, you can see that she regularly posts different variations of her fridge design, including various flower arrangements, quirky containers for ingredients and what has to be a monthly subscription to sparkling water.

With everything having its own meticulous place, audiences have been equally impressed, obsessed and a little bit stressed about Scampoli’s content.

One user said: “Flowers and pictures in your fridge?!? Girl I can’t even get leftovers in mine lol.”

Others weren’t having any of it, claiming that “they’d had enough of this foolishness”.
