One major supermarket has brought back a massively popular item once again — but it’s only available for a limited time.

Fans raved about Aldi’s $299 reformer Pilates machine in 2024 after it was released as part of the brand’s Special Buys range.

The machine is now back, and is set to be released on March 1 as part of the Special Buys Fitness range.

Reylene is one of the lucky shoppers who snapped up the item, and recently revealed whether she thought it was “worth the hype”.

“The hand rail is easy to move up and down, the springs are really sturdy and I found it easy to change — I did see a few people had trouble,” she said.

She also said the shoulder blocks were changeable, it came with a movement guide and it was easy to pack away. Her biggest issue was that it was difficult to adjust the straps.

Lauren also reviewed the machine saying it was a lot sturdier than she expected but it was “shorter in length” than a machine found at a studio.

One described it as the “Hunger Games” to get their hands on the machine.

“The Reformer Pilates Machine is back in our very popular middle aisle! After seeing how much our customers loved it last time we brought it back, we are excited to have even more shoppers have the chance to pick up the machine in store on Saturday, March 1st,” an Aldi spokesperson told news.com.au.

“This affordable, foldaway reformer with adjustable resistance tubes and height settings, makes it easier than ever to get that Pilates burn from the comfort of home.

“Don’t miss out — set your alarms and hurry in-store, because these popular reformers are available only while stocks last.”

Other items in the range include an ice bath, set to retail for $99.99, and an assorted Pilates kit thaty include a ring and balls. There are also fitness tops, jackets, shorts and cropped pants. The range also features bags, tights, joggers and slides.

Ice baths are a popular fitness trend at the moment, with Kmart recently releasing its own version that was compared to a higher-end item.

The budget retailer recently dropped the price of its Inflatable Portable Ice Bath, which has been compared to Vital+’s Ice Bath Barrel.

While the cult-favourite Ice Bath Barrel costs $417, Kmart’s version is priced at just $20, down from its usual $39.

“Kmart created the Inflatable Portable Ice Bath to cater to a growing interest in at-home wellness products, particularly those that support recovery and health,” a Kmart spokesperson said.

“This product provides an affordable, easy-to-use option for customers looking to incorporate cold therapy into their routines.”
