Heartbroken tributes have poured in for a TikTok star who died at just 25 after a mystery illness.

TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg has died aged just 25 years old after a mystery illness.

Her husband Cameron Grigg revealed the “sudden and unexpected” tragedy on Instagram on Friday with a heartbreaking tribute.

Cameron said: “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.

“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime.

“And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”

Taylor’s husband said she was the most “brave and strong” woman he knows and had saved his life.

Cameron then revealed that Taylor’s “earthly body is still here with us being ran by machines to keep her organs viable for donation”.

Taylor had 1.4m followers on TikTok and posted shopping videos, vlogs about her day to day life, and about Jesus and her faith.

Her final video was posted on September 26 and featured Taylor taking her dog to the vet.

A friend of Cameron’s has set up a fundraiser through GoFundMe to cover the costs of a benefit set to be held in Taylor’s honour.

It has currently raised $40,000 (A$58,800) with a target of $100,000 USD.

Cameron addressed their financial situation in the post: “With this being so sudden and unexpected we don’t have anything financially in order.

“Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married which has affected our financial situation, therefore we don’t have any insurance.”
