SHE IS fashion’s current golden girl — and bestie to Taylor Swift — and now Gigi Hadid has been snared by Topshop as the new face of their Autumn Winter 2015 campaign.
She’s a social media sensation with 4.9 million Instagram followers and her effortless, Californian style makes her an appropriate ambassador for the ever-growing Topshop brand.
The campaign will feature in Topshop stores around the world, so stand by to be Gigi-ed.
In her first campaign for Topshop, Gigi models the new collection in a series of images shot in London by photographer Tyrone Lebon and styled by Topshop Creative Director, Kate Phelan.
“Working with Gigi Hadid on this campaign continues to strengthen our international vision for the Topshop brand,” says Topshop’s Sir Philip Green.
“We are continually developing our footprint across all markets with ambitious plans both in the UK and internationally and I feel like Gigi is an ideal ambassador to underpin these efforts.”
Recently, Gigi was quoted as saying that working hard and being nice are two of the most important attributes to succeeding in the often fickle world of fashion.
And if she sticks with that mantra, she’ll do okay indeed.
