IT’S the KFC dish that has social media in a spin — the “chizza”.

Billed as “all chicken, no crust”, the “chizza” (a pizza made of a crumbed, chicken fillet base), launched at KFC in Singapore this week, after already being sold in the Philippines and Thailand.

But despite pleas from Australian customers on social media, is it not being introduced here.

A KFC spokeswoman today confirmed to News Corp Australia there were no plans to bring the “chizza” Down Under.

The “chizza” is made of “100% mozzarella cheese, sauce made from California tomatoes (and) 100% chicken fillet”, according to KFC, and topped with cheese sauce, chicken ham and pineapple.

It is served in a cardboard box ... just like a standard pizza.

The “chizza” became a talking point on social media again today when KFC launched the dish in Singapore, prompting Aussie fast food addicts to desperately call on the chicken chain to sell it in Australia.

“Thick crust, thin crust. Don’t think about it. We have our chicken as the pizza crust,” KFC tweeted in 2015, when it launched the “chizza” in the Philippines.

You could argue, though, that Australians can already indulge in the “chizza” via the pub staple, chicken parmigiana.
