Aussies are used to grabbing fried chicken from the drive through, food courts and delivery services but now KFC has moved to a unique location – the dance floor of a nightclub.

KFC is introducing Kentucky Fried Clubbing for one night only on October 21, at a secret venue in Sydney.

The club’s location will be revealed just 48 hours before the event, and open between 8pm and 3am.

The event will be headlined by Aussie producer Luude, who will be supported by fellow artists Kinder and Foura.

Luude’s Zinger Sliders, which feature a Zinger fillet and lettuce with a choice of Supercharged sauce or chilli relish, will be free on the night.

“KFC has been a staple on the diet forever – so when they reached out to partner on a project, I was 100 per cent keen,” Luude said.

“We’re setting up a secret club that is a replica KFC store, you’ve even got to go through the fridge to get in – it’s sounding wicked.

“They’ve also let me create a Secret Menu item too, so you’ll be able to ask for Luude Zinger Sliders all over Australia. A childhood dream collab.”

The sliders will be available from October 4 to 30 on the KFC Secret Menu, which can be found on the fast food giant’s app. KFC said you have to drag down the menu page and hold it for 11 seconds to find the menu.

Tami Cunningham, the chief marketing officer at KFC Australia, said merchandise would be available online and on the big night.

“We are committed to supporting Australia’s music industry and night-life and providing Aussies with the ultimate KFC experience,” she said.

“It’s so exciting to be partnering with such incredible local Aussie talent on what is sure to be a fantastic night out and we cannot wait to open the doors to our very first nightclub in Australia.

“We love to throw a gig, so we’re encouraging fans to grab their tickets, unleash their free spirits and embrace the fried side of life.”

All money raised from merchandise and ticket sales will go to KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners ReachOut Australia, Black Dog Institute and Whitelion.

Tickets for the nightclub are available through Moshtix.
