Popular Australian fast-food chain Guzman y Gomez has announced that several of its stores across the country will extend trading hours to be open 24 hours a day.
The stores operating 24/7 will be available for pick up in store and delivery, with the full menu available.
Guzman y Gomez founder and executive Steven Marks said he was proud that Australians would now be able to order “clean, high quality fast food 24/7”.
The NSW outlets going 24/7 are located in Coffs Harbour, Casula, Heatherbrae and Hoxton Park.
In Queensland, late-night and early-morning food will be available from outlets in Cannon Hill, Stafford Drive and Virginia.
Victorian fans of the chain have five options to choose from, with stores staying open 24 hours a day in Braybrook, Box Hill, Elsternwick, Tarneit and Swanston St.
“From late-night workers to early risers and everyone in between, GYG has your backs,” Mr Marks said.
“We’re now here for everyone on their 12am Uber ride home, the 2am road trip, 4am study sessions and everything in between.”
Drive-through stores have been a major part of Guzman y Gomez’s strategy over the years, as they deliver larger profits than pedestrian-based outlets by capturing a broader customer base.
The company was floated on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) earlier this year, immediately launching as one of the top 200 publicly listed companies in Australia.
Its stock price has since gone up more than $2.2bn, bringing the chain to a nearly $4bn valuation as of August.
