A young escort has revealed the wild reason she keeps getting phone calls from wives – and it is not for the reason you think.

Sydney escort Katija Cortez has revealed the surprising reason that wives book escorts for their husbands.

The 28-year-old escort said she’d seen a significant rise in the number of wives and female partners booking her services for their husbands.

Ms Cortez explained to news.com.au that there seems to be three main reasons the women are booking the sessions.

Sometimes wives will ring and book a threesome; other times, they’ll make a booking because they want to celebrate a special occasion like an anniversary, and some book escorts as an “outlet” for husbands who have a history of cheating.

Ms Cortez explained that in her experience, when it comes to threesome bookings, women are always the ones that ring up and organise it.

“Women are almost always the one to reach out to me to make a booking. They always mention it to me in our initial conversation,” she said.

Ms Cortez said the women also aren’t “vague” or coy in their requests and get straight to the point.

“It’s usually a request like, ‘Hey, my husband and I are in the city tonight. Are you available to join us?’ or, ‘Hey, do you see couples? My husband and I would love to see you’ or something along those lines,” she explained.

“I’ve never not known who I was speaking to, which is why I’ve definitely noticed an increase in couples bookings since I first started.”

The escort explained that she’s noticed a real surge in these types of bookings. It isn’t just the odd occasion that she hears from someone’s wife.

“A few years ago they were every now and then, and now I feel like I get at least one couples booking per month, if not more.”

Ms Cortez explained that when it comes to threesome bookings in general, “the wife is the centre of attention”, and it is uncommon for the man to be the star of the show.

“I’ve only had it happen once where the wife really wanted her husband to try new things and to engage with me but he didn’t want to because he felt guilty,” she said.

When it comes to event bookings, Ms Cortez said she’s called to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and even the Melbourne Cup.

“It usually takes a special event to happen for them to get someone to watch the kids or to book a room in the city or go away for the weekend, it means they have the flexibility to relax and do something spontaneous together,” she said.

The other reason that she’ll get a call from a married woman is because they want to enlist her services to try “controlled cheating”.

“For other couples, a lot of the time it’s about what I like to call controlled cheating. Where they both kind of know that one of them, or both of them, would struggle to stay faithful,” she explained.

“In these circumstances, it allows room for one or both of them to explore some variety and sexual expression, or use it as an outlet to cheat with permission, while both being present and able to monitor the situation.”

Ms Cortez said she thinks wives will book escorts because they know she won’t get emotionally invested.

“By monitoring a situation, I mean, is a condom being used? How sensual or intimate is the husband being? Wives can monitor an escort to ensure everything that happens is with a professional who is there for the money, and not to potentially steal your partner or cause unwanted emotional drama in the relationship.”
