GUILDFORDS RESTAURANT CAFE

Guildfords is my go-to breakfast spot. They offer a range of Mediterranean breakfast dishes, but I always go for the Guildford Big Brekky which is toasted flatbread, Sucuk sausage, wilted greens, potato cake, roasted tomato and eggs seasoned with sumac. They also double up as a florist.

BEACH CAFE SEAFORD

Beach Cafe sits directly on Seaford Pier and the views are phenomenal. With delicious coffee and cakes, the cold morning walks are definitely worth it. The housemade granola is a great morning feed.

SPANISH BAR

This is a great spot for date night, with a good vibe, atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. The seafood paella to share is generous and delicious, garnished with prawn cutlets, mussels, clams and half a crayfish tail. Wash it down with a jug of sangria and you have yourself a great night.

20 Station St, Seaford

GELATO UNOU

Housemade ice cream and gelato near my home — safe to say I’m here quite a bit! Tiramisu, pistachio, blood orange, nougat, chocolate and hazelnut are some of the flavours they offer, and all are as good as each other. Dairy-free options available.

CAPTAIN GUMMY’S

Supplying the best souvlakis outside of Greece, Captain Gummy is a must-visit. The crew arrive early each day, getting the monster-sized lamb gyro turning and cooking on a charcoal rotisserie. Treat yourself to the fresh-battered fish if you’re not feeling in the souvlaki mood.

145 Beach St, Frankston

SOUTHSIDE SOCIAL

Southside Social has the goods when it comes to filling you up and rolling you out the door, with burgers, beers, cocktails and loaded fries. The Southside Meat Market is a treat, with crispy fried chicken, BBQ-glazed beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Team it with a side of taco fries.
