KAZUKI’S

A Daylesford favourite, Kazuki’s has brought its small-town charm to Carlton’s fast and busy Lygon St and we just can’t get enough. It’s clever Japanese cooking techniques and sophisticated dishes, which my girlfriend and I appreciate.

121 Lygon St

GERALDS BAR

Geralds is our go-to bar for late night after-work drinks with the team. It’s a great place to unwind, the atmosphere is relaxed and the drink list is quite extensive and interesting. Their food always hits the spot.

LEONARDO’S PIZZA PALACE

Fantastic place for pizza and cocktails, and authentic Italian pasta. We especially love their pork and fennel pizza … definitely my personal favourite. Great little classy joint, with an impressive menu and also does regular happy hour. It’s cosy and relaxed, the flavours of the pizza are phenomenal.

29 Grattan St

PIDAPIPO

Hands down the best gelato in the area. Love their selection of flavours, and that everything is basically made from scratch every day. They have an amazing range of gelato cakes, too.

299 Lygon St

SUPER LING

We are so close, we go to our neighbours for good Chinese food. Their dishes are bold, unique and so flavoursome. Definitely try some of their noodle dishes — the handmade noodles are perfect. Also check out their signature dish, the infamous ma po tofu jaffle! Well-deserved hype.

138 Queensberry St

THE LINCOLN

This is basically our local pub, and a great place to just relax on a Sunday afternoon. We regularly meet up with family and friends here and enjoy a drink or two. They’ve won plenty of awards so they are always keeping up with the standards they’ve set. Also check out their award-winning burger, so good.
