What does it take to be a supermodel? According to Bella Hadid's recent TikTok, at least 14 different vitamins, and a sage cleanse every morning. 

If you’re feeling a little smug that this morning’s wellness routine involved washing down a multivitamin with a swig of green juice before you bolted for the bus (code for morning jog), allow us to introduce you to Bella Hadid’s AM regime, because everyone loves comparing themselves to a supermodel (said no-one ever).

Thanks to the rabbit hole known as TikTok, the whole world (banned countries and government ministers excluded) is now privy to what it takes to be a supermodel, proving – shock – they are really nothing like us.

My current morning routine involves smashing peanut butter toast on the way to the station. I can gym, or breakfast, but with four full-time kids and one full-time job, there’s zero chance of doing both.

If I was Bella Hadid, however, my 10-step morning routine would involve sipping on a tall glass of sea moss gel. (For the uninitiated, ignorant or just plain disinterested among us, sea moss is an edible sea vegetable in the algae family that is said to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Just swirl a spoon of the gel into a glass of pH-balanced water and, presto, instant supermodel.)

Bella Hadid’s morning routine

Step one: combine three tonics and a suspicious-looking gluggy liquid in a jar, and skull.  

Step two: wash down an array of vitamins – 14 to be exact – with green juice.

Step three: down a glass of the aforementioned sea moss gel.

Step four: take another supp, this time for ‘detoxification’.

Step five: chug down some liquid ionic trace minerals.

Step six: eat a croissant. Because, balance.

Step seven: crack open a Kin Euphorics spritz (it’s never too early to plug your own non-alcoholic drink range).

Step eight: dab some essential oils on your wrist and neck.

Step nine: burn some sage, to get rid of any bad juju from overnight.

Step 10: peruse your vast assortment of crystals, slip on some bracelets and then enter today’s instalment into your leather-bound journal.
