Wellness influencer and TV host Andi Lew is set to meet with the man charged with Making America Healthy again, Robert Kennedy Jr.
A long-time wholistic health advocate, LA based Lew attended the official MAHA inauguration ball in Washington DC last month with vaccine sceptic Robert F Kennedy Jr who has been confirmed and sworn in as US President Donald Trump’s health secretary.
Kennedy Jr’s appointment has been met with angst by some who labelled him the “most unqualified person ever” for the role, while others have hailed his “health vision”.
He’s won the backing of Melbourne influencer Bec Judd who posted her endorsement on social media in November: “Excellent. Australia needs a RFKJ.”
“I have a meeting with the COO and CEO of MAHA to discuss how I can assist their divine mission in restoring the true health of the American people,’’ Lew said.
“At the function I was surrounded by vitalistic health professionals, policy makers and advocates ready to bring change.
“This symbolised a demonstration of unity for greater good.
“Among the special guests were Dr. Oz and Russell Brand; voices who have long challenged mainstream narratives on health.
“For three decades I’ve been a part of witnessing a historical wellness revolution where my professional peers and the public revolted against a broken health care system and fought for a shift from a reactive health model (allopathy) to a proactive one (wellness) and know real prevention is not early detection.”
Lew said when she left for the US three years ago with her son, she was determined to get her message across and free the country from what she described as “medical apartheid”.
The author and former dating show host said she had many offers to share what she practices and preaches.
“I watched America slowly become more unwell, even though they have the best doctors, drugs and surgeons,’’ Lew said.
“I had to do something about it. Wellness education is my life’s work and mission. I got involved in MAHA after having followed RFK Jnr’s work as an attorney with the Children’s Health Defense.
“Witnessing health mandates that resembled invasive breach of autonomy over our bodies and how we feel we should practice health, led me to act.
“This isn’t a job or role for him. It’s his divine mission.”
