14yo admits to sexually assaulting 91yo woman

A young boy admitted to his grandma that he sexually assaulted an elderly woman after breaking into her home.

Footage has emerged of the moment a grandmother convinced her 14-year-old grandson to admit to sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman.

On June 9, 2024, an elderly woman in Florida woke up around midnight to find someone in her home, according to Law & Crime.

The woman was “beaten and sexually battered” in a “cruel act of violence,” the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

After an “intense investigation”, police arrested Jesse Stone, 14, who police have publicly named despite being a child as he is being charged as an adult.

Stone initially denied the allegations, but following his guilty plea, footage of an emotional exchange with his grandmother has been released.

It shows his grandmother urging him not to get caught in a web of lies and to come clean after lying to police.

“She deserves the truth to be told and you know it. Personally, I can’t believe. This is a horrible thing … that’s a horrible thing,” she said.

However the teenager remained firm and insisted he wasn’t “capable” of a crime such as this.

“It’s really hard for me to believe too that you would do a thing like this. But how many times have you been caught in lies?’ his grandmother continued.

“This woman deserves to have the truth, she deserves it and you know that.”

She then demanded he “look at her face” and pointed to photos of the battered woman.
“I’ve never seen you hurt anybody,” she said. “I hope and pray you did not do this to this woman... because this is horrific. This is a human being and she deserves justice, she does.

“If this were to happen to your sister, what would you do? If you know anything about this, for her at least, if you care about her, tell the truth.”

After he was told that his DNA was found on the victim’s underwear, he started to buckle, confessed and was arrested.

Stone said he didn’t expect the victim to be awake when he broke into the home, and after realising she was, he panicked and attacked her.

While the confession itself is redacted in the clip, authorities confirmed that the teenager admitted he watched porn on the victim’s iPad before the assault, as per the Star Banner.

He pleaded guilty last year to two counts: sexual assault and burglary with battery.

“This type of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all of my years in law enforcement,” Sheriff Billy Woods said.
