The photographs, taken by aerial imagery company Nearmap, show how open spaces and vast tracts of land have been transformed into housing estates and suburbs needed to support Wyndham’s blossoming population a matter of years.
Three years ago the area was home to 217,122 people and the headcount will top 270,478 this year, according to the latest Census data.
By 2041, nearly 490,000 are expected to call Wyndham home.
