Fromage a Trois cheese festival returns to Werribee Park Mansion

Sweet dreams are made of cheese at this one-day festival at Werribee Park Mansion where you can get your hands on everything from fried mozzarella burgers to blue cheese ice cream.

Fromage a Trois is returning to the grounds of Werribee Park Mansion next month.

Cheese lovers rejoice, a one-day festival is set to dish up all the gourmet grate-ness you could hope for.

The Fromage a Trois festival, held on the historic grounds of Werribee Park Mansion, will showcase delectable cheesy offerings alongside handcrafted wine, beer, cider and spirits from some of the nation’s finest food exhibitors.

Sample macaroni and cheese croquettes from Pasta Face, a fried mozzarella burger from That’s Amore Cheese and a range of cheesy ice creams — including pear and blue cheese and ricotta and honey — from Game of Cones and 196 Below.

Festivalgoers will also be able to meet the makers and get expert tips and tricks from renowned cheesemongers.

There will be roving entertainment, lawn games and live music to get in you in the groove while you enjoy a leisurely picnic.

Other exciting activities include a grape stomp competition with Pyreness Wine Region, master classes and demonstrations and mozzarella stretching.
