A group of vandals have targeted a crash scene after a car veered off the road in Melton.
It’s understood a 20-year-old Brookfield man was driving a Holden Commodore along Reserve Rd in Melton when the car left the road and crashed into a timber yard about 7.15am on Monday.
Five offenders then descended on the scene and smashed the Commodore’s windows, before fleeing the scene in a silver sedan.
It is understood those involved are known to each other.
The Brookfield man sustained minor injuries and paramedics treated him at the scene.
