Truck crashes forces Princes Freeway closure near Werribee

The Princes Freeway in Werribee has reopened to city-bound traffic after a cement truck rolled.

The Princes Freeway heading towards the city has reopened near the Duncans Road exit after a cement truck rolled over at about 9.45am on Thursday.

The male driver of the truck was removed from the cabin and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the incident is yet to be determined and an investigation is ongoing.

Emergency service crews arrived at the scene and reduced traffic to one lane city bound before the area was closed completely about 10.30am.
