Dramatic footage has emerged of the moments leading up to a truck rollover that closed all outbound lanes on the Princes Freeway for a number of hours on Monday afternoon.

Dashcam footage taken from the sand-filled truck that rolled on Monday has been posted online revealing the cause of the accident which saw two mae patients transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The footage appears to show a black 4wd attempting to overtake a bus in the left-hand lane before swerving across multiple lanes and hitting the front of the truck in the far-right lane.
Moments later, the truck swerves before making contact with a bus as it rolls onto its side.

All eastbound lanes were blocked on the Princes Freeway following a truck rollover at Point Cook on Monday afternoon.
The truck was turned upright and taken away, while crews cleaned up tonnes of sand sprawled across the road.
The left lane of the Princes Freeway was still closed on Monday night while traffic was moving through the right three lanes.
A Department of Transport spokeswoman said about 100-150m of guard rail had been damaged, forcing crews to install temporary water-filled barriers.
All lanes are expected to open by 10pm Monday.
Paramedics transported two patients in a stable condition following the incident near Hoppers Crossing.
The B-double truck carrying sand rolled after a collision with a car.
Emergency services responded to the incident about 1pm.
VicTraffic warned of lengthy delays and urged motorists to avoid the area and to use the Princes Highway or Duncans Rd into Werribee and detour through Hoppers Crossing.
Police were working to establish the exact circumstances leading up to the collision.
