Motorists are facing major traffic delays after a fiery crash in Melbourne’s west brought a busy freeway to a halt, with one person rushed to hospital.

One person has been rushed to the hospital after a car flipped after crashing through a barrier before going up in flames in Melbourne’s west.
All lanes have been closed on Princes Highway, Laverton near the inbound exit to Point Cook Rd after a collision on Monday about 11.50am.
It’s understood a gold Toyota Tarago crashed through a barrier on Princes Highway, flipped on its side before catching on fire at the Point Cook Rd exit ramp in Laverton.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 27-year-old Wyndham Vale man, was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesman said firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find the fire had already been extinguished.
A Victoria Police spokesman said the exact circumstances of the crash were being investigated.
Authorities are urging motorists to take either the Forsyth Rd exit or the next exit at High St to avoid the closures.
