Young thieves who shamelessly stole a customer’s order from a local pizza shop have been told they could get a free feed by washing dishes instead.
The owner of Melton’s Arnolds Creek Pizzeria, in Melbourne’s outer west, took to social media to express his disappointment in the action of two “young girls” who shamelessly stole a customer’s order and walked away on Sunday night.
CCTV was posted online by the Panorama Dr business in an attempt to identify the thieves and “drag them back to the store by their ears to apologise”.

In the footage, the girls stood near the register and appear to wait for staff to be distracted before they walk towards a cabinet and grab a customer’s order.
When the staff become aware, the girls are heard making inaudible comments and wave their arms before they walk out the door.
Owner Elias Boudoloh said there was no need to steal another customer’s order.
“If you’re hungry and have no money, I will happily make you a feed … you can either pay me at a later date or scrub some dishes,” Mr Boudoloh said.
“The inconvenience of having the customer whose order was stolen wait while we had to make his order again is what annoyed me the most.

“I know that if I (had) seen this video, and it was my daughter, niece, or the daughter of a friend, I would most certainly be dragging them back to the store … If this is what young girls are getting up to now, what future do they have?”
Residents told the Herald Sun the nearby FoodWorks had been the target of similarly “brazen” thefts in recent months.
