CCTV has captured the shocking moment a car races through a stop sign, smashing into a van in Footscray.
The incident, which happened just before 3pm on Thursday, was captured in Footscray.
The grey sedan races up the narrow Everard St, where cars are parked on both sides of the road and bins from nearby apartments are out for collection, before ignoring a stop sign.

It then hits the side of a white van which rolls, out the front of St John’s Catholic School.
Remarkably, the Herald Sun understands there were no reported injuries.
Essex St, in that section, is a 40km/h zone, while Everard St — which runs between Essex and Barkly streets, is understood to have a similar limit.
