A man from Melbourne’s west has been arrested and charged over a series of alleged text message scams from last year.
Police executed a search warrant at a home in Truganina on Monday, where an 18-year-old man was arrested.
His mobile was seized along with someone else’s identification.
The man has been charged with negligently dealing with proceeds of crime in relation to four separate alleged incidents between October 14 to 17 2022.
He will appear at Werribee Magistrates’ Court in August.
