With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Herald Sun contacted florists around Victoria’s southwest to find out who had the cheapest roses.
If you’re looking for a single rose in Warrnambool, the Flower Gallery, Flower Trail and Fresh Flower Market have you covered at $10 each.
Fresh Flower Market owner and florist Dianne Gardner said Valentine’s Day was a “three day bang”.
“Men just come in at the last minute and we just go off previous to know what we’ve got to have made up — it’s very busy” Mrs Gardner said.
Meanwhile, those looking for a dozen red roses will get the cheapest prices at Flower Gallery and the Fresh Flower Market.
Up the road in Colac, Thistle and Thorn has single stems for $12 and a bouquet for $150.
Twisted Willow is also selling bouquets for $150.
