Thieves break into service station in Warrnambool on Mortlake Rd, attempting to steal an ATM
Police are hunting a pair who reversed a ute into a Warrnambool store and tried to steal an ATM, leaving behind a trail of damage.

Police are hunting two men after an attempted smash and grab at a Warrnambool service station in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, two men wearing balaclavas used a white ute to rear-end the front window of the Mortlake Rd store just after midnight before unsuccessfully attempting to steal an ATM.
The pair fled empty handed but left property damage and shattered glass behind.
Nobody was working in the store at the time.
The store traded as normal on Wednesday, with a broken door sealed off to the side of the store’s entrance.
Police and detectives are seeking public assistance to try and locate the pair and have released CCTV images of the thieves who may be involved in the incident.
