Punters went out for a cold beverage or two by the track over the weekend at a country cup in Victoria’s southwest.
Race-goers sprung into the racing spirit and enjoyed a social day out with their family and friends, listened to live entertainment, experienced delicious food from food trucks and entered the fashions on the field competition at the Sungold Milk Terang Cup.
The Terang and District Racing Club welcomed patrons through their gates from 11.30am on Sunday.
The Herald Sun attended the Terang Cup and captured photos and videos of racegoers having fun and making the most of their Sunday.
Former jockey and horse trainer Brenton Primmer said the cup was a successful day and he was proud to watch how well all the horses performed.
“Good turnout, good people, good atmosphere — not a bad day at all,” southwest local Phil Jennings said.
