Christmas Day and Boxing Day forecast for Warrnambool and the surrounding regions
Open up those beach umbrellas and lay those towels on the sand, because Warrnambool is expected to have a sunny Christmas and Boxing Day.
Warrnambool is set to have a sunny Christmas Day and Boxing Day with warm temperatures expected.
After months of continuous heavy rain and cold weather, Victorians living across the coast will get to enjoy some sunshine for their Christmas holidays.
On Christmas Day, light winds are expected with a maximum of 23C and a minimum of 10C.
Boxing Day will get a little warmer, with a maximum of 29C and a minimum 12C with light winds.
There will be no chance of rain for either day, so locals and visitors have the opportunity to explore many attractions in the summer heat.
Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club Patrol Captain John Whitson said everyone was advised to swim between the flags.
“If you are ever down at the beach and you’re unsure of the conditions, just go and ask someone at the club, they would be more than happy to point out the better places to swim,” Mr Whitson said.
Businesses are also expected to get busier these holidays.
