Train goes up in flames in Victoria’s west

A train has gone up in flames in western Victoria in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a train carriage fire around 12.40am on Hindmarsh St in Dimboola.
Three CFA units from Dimboola responded.
According to a CFA spokesman when crews arrived they found spot fires on both sides of the carriage.
The incident was under control by 1.03am and crews started clean-up.
The scene was declared safe by 1.33am.
The trains cooling unit was partially damaged by the fire.
