Teen girl gang caught on alleged stolen car joy ride
A group of teenage girls have been charged after police busted them in an allegedly stolen car.

Five teenage girls have been charged after a joy ride in an allegedly stolen car late at night.
The girls were cruising through Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs when police tracked the car on Flemington Rd in North Melbourne about 12.30am on July 5.
The teen group’s fun ended when police followed the car through Carlton and apprehended the girls on Queensbury St.
The five girls were arrested and four have been charged with criminal offences.
The teens are all aged 15 and 16.
The four girls were charged with an array of offences, including theft of a motor vehicle, committing an indictable offence while on bail, burglary and obtaining property by deception.
The fifth girl was released.
The car was allegedly stolen from Melbourne’s outer north in Preston.
