The reigning Holten Medallists and nine Team of the Year stars headline the VSDCA representative team.
Kew premiership captain David Wildsmith will lead the Subbies XI against the Victorian Country Cricket League on Sunday, December 8 at the Junction Oval.
Yarraville’s Michael Sheedy will once again coach the squad, while Graham Hill has been chosen as umpire.
Reigning Holten Medallists Sahan Perera of Noble Park and Brighton’s Glen Parker will suit up in a significant boost to the annual clash, which returned to the field last season.
Perera is having an outstanding season, sitting second in runs (308 at an average of 102) and wickets (12 at 15) the North-East group.
Parker sits second in the South-West group wicket-taker charts, also with 12 at an average of 8.5.
Meanwhile, boom Bayswater import Rishi Patel has put his hand up to represent the association after a blistering start to the campaign.
The Essex bat has plundered the most runs in the entire VSDCA, 348 at an average of 87.
The Subbies team suffered a 138-run defeat in last season’s clash.
Former Big Bash League and Premier Cricket big-hitter Brayden Stepien blasted 149 off 105 in a match-winning performance.
