Victorian Premier Cricket opening round rescheduled

The opening round of the Victorian Premier Cricket Men’s competitions will be re-fixtured to one-dayers commencing next Saturday, October 8.
Initial plans were for the season to begin this Saturday, October 1 although it is believed several grounds were not ready for play.
Cricket Victoria has confirmed the Women’s 1st XI competition, featuring eight teams, will go ahead as planned this Sunday, October 2 with back-to-back T20’s.
Women’s 2nd and 3rd XI matches will be abandoned, and two points awarded to each team.
