With all play now completed, we’ve taken a look at the leading performers from the tournament.
Here are the name of the young guns you need to remember.
Aden Bates, Ringwood
Enjoyed a fine tournament with the bat taking 10 wickets at an average of 9.7. Also showed his capability with the bat including one innings of 25.
Griffin Box, Richmond
Box was brilliant throughout the tournament with two centuries on his way to 340 runs at 68 as the Tigers finished as premiers. Also proved more than handy with the ball taking six wickets at 15.17.
Joe Curtain, Melbourne
Finished with nine wickets at an average of 17.78 while also being handy in the field with four catches.
Jack Czosnek, Richmond
Played a key role in his side’s premiership success with 242 runs at 48.4 including a high score of 149. Equally as influential with the ball taking six wickets at 15.17.
Jackson Edwards, Ringwood
Finished as the tournament's leading run scorer after plundering 344 at an average of 68.8. The classy wicketkeeper hit a monster 177 and two half-centuries during the tournament. Was also clean behind the stumps with three catches and five completed run-outs.
Jobe Fraser, Camberwell Magpies
Was the Magpies leader with the bat, scoring 173 runs at an average of 43.25. Fraser also took six wickets at 22.
Simrth Gill, Essendon
His side’s leading run scorer for the competition with 237 at 47.2 including two half-centuries.
Tamar Holt, Geelong
Holt was the Cats’ leading run scorer this season with 188 at 47. Also a reliable pair of hands in the field with four catches.
Luke Ivanovic, Ringwood
His highest score of the competition was an impressive 108 on his way to 236 at 47.2 for the tournament. Ivanovic also showed off his all-round ability when he took 2-6 in one game.
Albert Macgowan, St Kilda
Finished as the tournament’s leading wicket taker with 13 at 77.7. The young gun had best figures of 4-19.
Aahil Maredia, Casey South Melbourne
The leading run scorer for the Swans with 204 runs at 51. Had a high score of 68.
Max Parrott, Melbourne
Enjoyed a strong tournament behind the stumps with six catches, four stumpings and two completed run-outs. Also managed to score 122 runs.
Adam Rixon, Camberwell Magpies
Showed his talent with both bat and ball after scoring 138 runs and taking 10 wickets at 17.1
James Rosham, Melbourne
An all-rounder with a bright future ahead of him. Rosham finished with 178 runs at 44.5 and seven wickets at 11.57.
Oliver Schofield, Camberwell Magpies
Took 11 wickets for the tournament at an average of 13.09 while also managing to take a couple of catches in the field.
Ranbir Singh, Richmond
The player of the final for the Tigers. Singh was electric in the field, claiming six run-outs, and also taking six scalps for the tournament.
Barnaby Smith, St Kilda
A consistent run scorer for his side throughout with 199 runs at 66.33 including two half-centuries.
Leo Steenholdt, Frankston Peninsula
One of the leading bowlers for the tournament after taking 10 wickets at 7.9 including best figures of 4-17.
