And that’s four Jack Peacock Cups in a row for Langwarrin.

Led by “Hussdog’’, “Hec’’, “KP’’ and “Wizz’’, the Kangaroos bounded to victory over Sorrento in the MPCA Provincial T20 final at Baxter Park on Sunday afternoon.

Chasing the Sharks’ 8-134, Langy — powered by a brilliant captain’s knock by Tom “Hussdog’’ Hussey — got home with four wickets and eight balls to spare, replying with 6-135 off 18.4 overs.

Hussey carried his bat to make an unbeaten 62 (with 7 boundaries and 1 six), steadying the chase after the Kangas were wobbling at 2-18 and 6-88.

He received sterling support from 16-year-old Kyle “KP’’ Parrott (26, with 3 fours and 1 six) and Robbie “Wizz’’ Lancaster (27 not out, with 4 boundaries).

Lancaster and Hussey shared an unconquered 47-run partnership to guide Langwarrin home.

Earlier, former Melbourne Renegades paceman Jayde “Hec’’ Herrick lit the fuse for Langwarrin with a fiery opening spell, removing Sorrento’s top three batsmen, including skipper Bobby Wilson (8), to have the Sharks reeling at 3-26.

Herrick finished with 3-15 off four overs, and savoured being part of his first premiership at Langwarrin in his first season at the club.

Langwarrin will now set about adding the Provincial premiership cup to its trophy cabinet.

The Peninsula division Peacock Cup was won in commanding fashion by Pines over Somerville.

After rolling Somerville for 83, with Harley Parker taking 4-16, the Piners coasted to 2-88 off 13 overs, with Damien Lawrence carving an unbeaten 38 (with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes) and Ricky Ramsdale 27 (with 2 sixes).
