Carlton fast bowler Cameron Stevenson made his T20I debut for USA on Tuesday.
The Australian-born USA cricketer, who holds a United States passport, was the 28th player to represent his country in T20 internationals.
The 29-year-old took 1-15 from three overs, helping his side to a convincing victory as they bowled out Singapore for 69 in response to his team’s total of 201.
On Thursday at 9:30pm, Stevenson could get another chance to attain a few more international wickets when his side faces Zimbabwe in its second T20 World Cup qualifier in three days.

Stevenson previously represented America in December 2019 where he made his debut in an ODI match against Guyana.
The right arm fast bowler also played for the Melbourne Renegades in 2015, debuting alongside Aaron Finch and Chris Gayle.
He made his first class Sheffield Shield debut for Tasmania in 2016.
Stevenson said it was good to be back in the America for the first time in two years.
“It’s very exciting coming into a big series for us,” Stevenson said to USA Cricket prior to his T20I debut.
“Obviously a lot of work to do on the table so if we can have a successful couple of weeks here it will go a long way to finishing up the top end of the table and pushing for a World Cup spot.
“It’s great to get back around the team, obviously an opportunity to play short form cricket against some pretty good opposition in some pretty testing conditions I think as a bowler.”
Last season Stevenson took 18 wickets from 16 matches for Carlton in the Victorian Premier Cricket home and away season.
