Brunswick has snared a second ex-state paceman ahead of the new VSDCA season.
Former Victoria representative and Essendon quick Louis Cameron has moved to A.G Gillon Oval for 2020-21 after work commitments prevented him making a Premier Cricket appearance last season.
Cameron will join ex-Victoria and Bombers teammate Clint McKay in the Wicks’ attack when the pair’s work allows.

Brunswick captain-coach Liam Murphy was excited to secure another quality addition.
“It’s always good to have high-quality cricketers come into the club,” Murphy said.
“We’d had discussions with him before and we’re keen to get good people into the club. He’s really well respected in cricketing circles.
“We’re not lacking in pace stocks to be completely honest.
“What it does do is put us in a position when a young Second XI cricketer does progress to the First XI, it’s on the back of consistent performances.
“The club’s got great strength in our bowlers, so if you do get into the First XI you have to have a body of work to get there. Successful playing groups have real competition for spots.”
Cameron played two Sheffield Shield matches for Victoria in 2012, taking three wickets against NSW.
In his 2018-19 Premier Cricket campaign the 28-year-old snared 25 wickets at an average of 23.90 across 18 First and Second XI matches.
When available Cameron will join McKay, Leigh Brennan and David McKay as first choice quicks.
However, Murphy was excited by the potential of youngsters Henry Robinson, Jack Stevenson and Dom Sullivan and expected them to push for senior selection.
The ongoing COVID-19 crisis could delay the Wicks’ pre-season preparations, with several nearby suburbs – including Brunswick West and Brunswick South – locked down by the State Government.
Murphy was confident his club would still be ready for Round 1.
“It’s going to have an impact but the reality of it is, everyone is going to be in the same boat,” he said.
“The old cliche goes ‘you have to be prepared to play’ and the clubs that do that will reap the benefits.
“We want to give our guys the best chance to get their games right and from a batting and bowling perspective what we need to do to win games.
“If we can drill that into them over three weeks or if pre-season is eight weeks, that’s great.”
