A dazzling century from Victorian prodigy Ollie Peake has led Geelong Grammar to yet another APS win.

In pursuit of Xavier College’s 266, Peake struck 154 from 164 balls at the top of the order.

Talented dual-sportsman Sam Lalor joined Peake, adding 79 from just 56 deliveries.

The two knocks followed 118 from Xavier No.3 Ben Wickham.

The win keeps Geelong Grammar only one win behind first-placed Haileybury College.

That Haileybury side, led by 104 from Brendan Plumb, defeated Caulfield Grammar by 14 runs.

The Bloods set Caulfield 200 and immediately had the visitors on the back foot at 5-23.

Freddie Arnhold (3-28) and Santhosh Prakesh (3-38) were the chief destroyers, sending back Caulfield top batters Chris Kellaway, Jez Rigoni and Jack Czosnek on their way.

Geelong College, meanwhile, snuck home in a tight win over St Kevin’s College.

Chasing St Kevin’s 130, Geelong College passed the hosts with just two wickets in hand.

Harry Emerson scored 81 and Charlie Larsen 61 in Geelong College’s fifth win of the year.

Scotch College claimed victory over Carey Grammar after an excellent spell from Adam Rixon.

Rixon bowled 18 overs for the return of six wickets.

Melbourne Grammar, led by all-rounder Harry Austin, pinched a close win over Wesley College.

Austin scored 77 opening the batting before capturing 1-38 with the new ball.

Austin claimed the last wicket when Wesley was just three runs shy of victory.
