A violent brawl at a Mornington Peninsula pub where chairs and pool cues were used as weapons left patrons cowering.
The melee involved at least eight men and is believed to have been sparked when ice cubes were thrown during a game of pool at The Grand Hotel on Saturday night.
Shocking footage of the fight showed the men smashing pool cues and throwing chairs as security tried to intervene.
Patrons could be seen seeking shelter from the violence in a booth in the corner of the sports bar.
Police were called but by the time they arrived the men had left the pub.
No injuries were reported.
The hotel did not want to comment about the fight.
