A man and woman wanted by police for two years have been arrested in Cranbourne North over a string of alleged offences.

Two alleged fugitives have been arrested in Melbourne’s south east after being on the run for two years.
The VIPER taskforce arrested a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman both from Cranbourne North on Tuesday.
Wanted for 11 warrants including aggravated burglaries, driving offences, thefts, assaults and making threats to kill, the incidents date back as far as March 2021.
At 5.30am, just before dawn, dog squad, drone unit and uniformed officers executed a warrant at on the property
The man was charged with allegedly intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and failing to appear while on bail.
He was also already subject to a Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO).
During the FPO search of the property, officers discovered what they allege to be a quantity of cannabis.
The man was bailed to appear in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on March 20 on eight different matters.
The woman was arrested and bailed to front Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on June 15 and Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on July 11.
Investigators have alleged the duo fled Victoria to avoid arrest.
Senior Constable Paul Harris from the VIPER Taskforce said officers would stop at nothing to hold offenders accountable.
“This couple have been on the run as fugitives for two years. Wanted for breaching community corrections orders, committing assaults, threats to kill and aggravated burglaries,” he said.
