Three lanes blocked at Warrigal Rd as accident is cleared on the Monash Freeway

Multiple lanes on the Monash Freeway remain blocked following a car accident, with one person taken to hospital.

A collision on a busy freeway in Melbourne’s southeast has caused major traffic delays.

Emergency services were called to a collision on the Monash Freeway at the Warrigal Rd entrance at 1pm on March 27.

The right lane and both right turn lanes remain blocked as emergency services are working to clear the accident.

The remaining two lanes are facing major delays as the accident is cleared.

A spokesperson from Ambulance Victoria said one person has been taken to The Alfred in a stable condition.
