A Dromana TattsLotto outlet is celebrating after selling another winning ticket.

The latest big Lotto winner says her secret ritual of lighting a green candle, eating dark chocolate and declaring “I am lucky” before buying a ticket helped her win more than $600,000.

The woman, who bought her ticket in Dromana, was one of nine division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4123, drawn January 23.

Each division one winning entry takes home a prize worth $678,308.17.

When an official from The Lott called the winner on Monday to break the news, the Victorian woman couldn’t contain her excitement.

“I can’t breathe. I only just woke up! I can’t believe this,” she said.

“I need to sit down and let this news sink in. This is such a wonderful surprise!

“I always joke that I am going to win the lottery, but now it’s happened. It’s crazy.”

The woman said she followed her special tradition before buying lottery tickets because she had been told it would bring her luck.

“I light a green candle, eat a piece of dark chocolate, and then I say, ‘I am lucky!’ and then I go and buy my lottery ticket!

“Now I really do feel lucky. This is phenomenal!”

The woman, who did not want to be identified, said the win was life changing for her family.

“I am going to pay off the mortgage, buy a new car and help my family.”

The winning marked 18-game entry was purchased at Dromana Hub Lotto, Shop 7, Dromana Hub Shopping Centre, Point Nepean Road, Dromana

Dromana Hub Lotto owner Janine Fancett said the outlet had been patiently waiting to sell another division one winning entry.

“It’s great news,” she said.

“Last year we sold the $80 million Powerball entry at our other outlet, so we were hoping to sell a big one at this outlet this year.

“We are so happy for the winner and hope she can do something great with her prize.

“It was a really tough year last year, so I can imagine it came as a great surprise.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4123 on 23 January 2021 were 6, 8, 40, 10, 29 and 1, while the supplementary numbers were 31 and 42.

Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4123 – three each from Queensland and Victoria, two from Western Australia and one from New South Wales.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 254 so far this financial year, including 101 won by Tatts customers.

In 2020, TattsLotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 312 division one winning in TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $355.13 million.
