The former Victorian speedster sent Crib Point crashing all out for 90, with all of his eight wickets either bowled, LBW or caught behind the wicket.

In reply, Somerville pocketed first innings points, reaching 5-120 by stumps, with Brenton Alp (55) and Nick Marshall (29) leading the way.
It was Herrick’s best haul for Somerville, surpassing his 6-38 against Red Hill last season.
Rhys Elmi hammered 122 not out off 152 balls, with 13 fours and 5 sixes, to propel B aden Powell to a whopping 6-336 against Main Ridge at Ditterich Reserve.
Coming in at 3-97, Elmi shared significant partnerships with Josh Waldron (77 off 64 balls), Craig Entwistle (29) and Tyson Jackson (35) as the runs flowed. Earlier, Braves opener Travis Kellerman (44) set a solid platform.
Red Hill’s Jamie McCall took 5-47 off 15 overs as the Hillmen dismissed Moorooduc for 200 in 65 overs. The Ducs were well placed at 3-127, with Shamith Kannangara (47) and opener Thilina Rajakaruna (44) looking assured before McCall struck telling blows. In reply, Riley Shaw (25no) and Matt Merfield (17no) guided Red Hill to 0-43 at stumps.
Liam Jackson (3-21) and Harley Parker (3-34) helped Pines, looking to halt a two-game slide, dismiss Long Island for 109. Aaron Paxton (27) and Michael Burke (25) did best for the Islanders. In reply, the Piners were 1-12.
In Sub-District, the Holland-Burch brothers bowled beautifully for Tyabb to help dismiss Rye for 132. James took the new ball and snared 3-23 off 18 overs, with 8 maidens, while Sam also nabbed 3-23.
Brenton Taylor collected 5-32 off 19 overs for Balnarring as the Saints shot out Dromana for 130. Miles Shepherd (3-30) also impressed. In reply, Balnarring crashed to 3-5 before going to stumps at 3-25.
Boneo racked up 7-287 in the top-of-the-table clash with Tootgarook. The Pandas were given a great start by Chris Jobling (35) and Caolan O’Connor (39) before skipper Ryan Jellie (43), Flinn Shiel (43no) and Cameron Williams (60, including 6 sixes) applied the finishing touches.
Shane Smith returned his best figures for Carrum Downs, taking 4-37 off 21 overs to help dismiss Skye for 152. David Dervan chipped in with 3-44. The in-form Michael Mandile made 50 for Skye.
