SEAFORD Football Netball Club may have played its last game at its home ground of almost 90 years, RF Miles Reserve in Seaford.
The unique little oval beside the train tracks will be used as a work site for the level crossing removal project.
Machinery and equipment will move on to the oval next week.

The Tigers will relocate to Belvedere Reserve, where Seaford Junior Football Club is based, for the next two years.
Whether Seaford returns to RF Miles Reserve is uncertain, with Tigers president Dale O’Neil confirming the club would make a bid to move to Linen House, the soon-to-be former home base of St Kilda Football Club.
“We will be at the forefront of those discussions along with the AFL South East and AFL Victoria and St Kilda,’’ O’Neil said.
He said the Tigers would look to make the move to Belvedere Reserve a positive outcome.
“The benefit for us is that our junior footy club plays there and we’ve got such a strong relationship with them and even though over the next two years we will be in each other’s faces a bit, it will help us strengthen our relationship with them.
“We will be able to have more of a presence with their development,’’ he said.
To make the move to Belvedere Reserve more palatable for fans, the Tigers will make it free entry for all at Seaford MPNFL games this year.
“We will look to make up the income through those facilities (at Belvedere Reserve), rather than charge any gate for any opposition or supporter,’’ O’Neil said.
“Hopefully they’ll embrace it and come down and support and cheer us on.’’
*SEAFORD has secured former South Fremantle defender Matt Gundry. The 22-year-old is on Sandringham’s VFL list but will make the Tigers his home club.
