A Melbourne physiotherapist accused of sexually assaulting a patient on two occasions has had the charges dismissed.
Hany “Harry” Bebawy, 45, was cleared of two charges of sexual assault in Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on April 14, where it was alleged he had “sexually touched (the patient’s) nipples without consent” and “sexually touched her outer labia without consent”.
Mr Bebawy has continuously denied the accusations, which were made by a patient in November 2022.
He was suspended by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia in April 2023, however had been granted permission to treat only male patients after fighting the suspension.
Mr Bebawy runs three clinics across the city – in Elwood, Elsternwick and Coburg.
On Monday, police dropped all charges against Mr Bebawy, who was not present for his vindication.
