A Victoria Police senior constable has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor on two occasions.
Senior Constable Stuart Lonie, 54, fronted the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on April 18, facing one charge of intentionally placing his hand on the bare midriff of an alleged victim in a sexual manner without consent and one charge of intentionally rubbing his arm on the breast of an alleged victim in a sexual way without consent.
In court documents seen by the Herald Sun, the alleged incidents happened on two separate occasions, the first between November 2021 and March 2022 and the second between April 2022 and September 2022, both at a location in Seaford.
The court heard the alleged victim was a minor at the time of the alleged incidents.
Senior Constable Lonie attended court in person on Thursday supported by two women.
Both parties asked for more time to resolve the matters.
A plea has yet to be entered for the charges.
Magistrate Ross Maxted adjourned the matter to May 29 for a further mention.
